It is our number one goal as an independent, fundamental Baptist church to bring honor and glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Pastor Atwood was called to be the first pastor of Heritage Baptist in November of 2006. We began meeting in a small one-bedroom house with some property and a garage. Within a few months we had outgrown the living room we were meeting in so the men of the church remodeled the garage that was on the property. During this time we had plans to eventually build on the property we had there, but God had other plans!
A few months of being at 5038 Bonner Drive turned into almost a full year before the Lord led us to our current location at 4444 McArdle Road. We were able to buy an existing church building that was closing its doors. As of November of 2007 the church purchased the church building in the center of the south side of Corpus and we are excited to be serving the Lord in a permanent location.
We are still a young church and excited about serving the Lord and there are many opportunities to get involved and serve the Lord in a local church.
